We knew from the outset that this client doesn’t shy away from color or pattern! She asked for a bright, airy and playful design for her Wine Country retreat in Sonoma, California. Her love of blush, salmon, amethyst, and teal informed the color palette and interior design throughout the home, which is tempered by crisp white walls and ethereal wallpaper patterns throughout. Napa Valley interior designer, Niche Interiors, worked closely with a local art gallery to commission an oversized painting for the space, providing a dramatic backdrop for the seating area. Navy cabinetry provides contrast in the bright kitchen, which features custom floating shelves and blush grasscloth.
Graphic wallpaper sets the tone in the primary bedroom, layered with patterned window treatments and contemporary furniture. Our Wine Country interior design team maximized sleeping accommodations in the bunk room with two sets of custom twin over full bunk beds designed by Niche Interiors and fabricated locally in San Francisco from FSC certified wood. Playful geometric wallpaper on the ceiling adds an unexpected twist. A loungey aqua sectional is paired with a patterned ottoman in the media room. The pool house features a kitchenette with custom oak cabinetry and a vibrant bathroom with graphic tile and contemporary brass fixtures.
