Niche Interiors is pleased to be selected again as a featured designer on Ava Living, this week for our Bungalow dining room remodel. Built-in cabinets and window seat, a custom reclaimed wood dining table, and new light fixtures were a just a few of the improvements made to this San Francisco bungalow. Clever Design Trick from San Francisco Dining by Design: Modernize Old Chairs with Plastic Seats

I just came across this photo I snapped at DIFFA’s (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Dining by Design event in November. I loved this room as a whole, but especially the clever idea of updating antique dining chairs with plastic seats and chair backs instead of the standard of reupholstering. The curves of the chair really stand out…So smart!
